OPENER - BREAK - CLOSER

Sides face, grand square
I was born in the rain by the Pontchartrain
    Underneath that Louisiana moon
Don't mind the strain of a hurricane
    She comes around every June
Circle left
High black water, she's the devil's daughter
Left allemande & promenade
Nobody taught her that it takes a lot of water
    To wash away New Orleans

FIGURE

The heads/sides square thru go 4 now, around that corner lady dosado
Swing thru & then well, the boys run right
Tag the line and cloverleaf & go
Girls square thru 3/4 round you go
Swing the corner man and promenade
 The bridges are looking lower
    Shrimp boats are hurrying home

TAG

Nobody taught her that it takes alot of water
    To wash away New Orleans
